The decoration, according to Angop, arises based on the Angolan's contribution to collaboration with entities and the French State.
The decoration ceremony will take place at the end of this month, namely on the 28th, at the French Embassy in Angola, in Luanda.
Speaking to Angop, Ngouabi Salvador was happy with the distinction, considering it a dignification of the work of his club and of all Angolans. Furthermore, he also considered that the award is also based on an incentive to continue the work of social action and incorporation of children through sport, writes Angop.
According to Angop, some actions – such as, for example, in 2021, the works to improve the aforementioned club's sports court and the training of staff, as part of an initiative by the French Embassy in Angola, supported by Tony Parker – led to the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the French Development Agency, Clube Formigas do Cazenga, the French Embassy in Angola and associated companies.
It is recalled that in August this year, the Minister of Finance, Vera Daves, visited the Clube Escola Desportiva Formigas do Cazenga, leaving words of encouragement for the young members of the club.
