Erivaldo, in the 61st minute, scored for the Portuguese coach's men, but the opponent equalized at 90+3, through Dagó, after a powerful shot from outside the area.
Despite securing a draw, Petro de Luanda's coach, Alexandre Santos, was strongly challenged by the fans, who threw objects into the four lines at the end of the match. Petro's supporters considered the coach guilty of the result - which they say had the flavor of defeat - for replacing Gilberto, who they elected as the best on the field. In the game between newcomers, São Salvador do Zaire inflicted the first defeat of the football championship on Clube Recreativo União de Malanje by 4-1. Filhão, at 22 and 66, Kimuanga, at 29, and Fernando, at 90, scored São Salvador's goals, while Russinho, at 90, reduced for Malanje.
