"We always have to raise our heads, have responsibility, a lot of work and that's where success comes from, because without work you won't get there", said the first lady of the Republic, quoted in a Government note, to which VerAngola had access.

Speaking after a visit to the aforementioned school, where she "interacted, in a relaxed way, with the majority of future students", Ana Dias Lourenço also promised to return in April 2024 in order to meet those who qualified for the aforementioned school.

Furthermore, the first lady said that "left the visit proud to be Angolan, knowing the history of so many talented young people interested in the project".

On the occasion, she also expressed her "conviction that the Luanda School could be on the list of the best institutions of its kind around the world, judging by the quality of the candidates", reads the statement.

Ana Dias Lourenço also took the opportunity to wish everyone "good luck", as well as calling on sponsors "to reinforce their support" for the aforementioned educational establishment, as she "saw many talented young people".

"The rule at School 42 is to leave at around 30 or 33 percent. I think you will leave more. So, be disciplined", she said, quoted in the statement.

Victor Kangombe, one of the 200 candidates who qualified for the last stage, said that Ana Dias Lourenço's words were "very motivating" and could "give sustainability to her focus on being part of School 42 in Luanda".

"I gained a lot of strength! I want to tell other young people to continue following their dreams of being programmers," he said, quoted in the statement.

Sara Domingos was also pleased to hear the first lady's words. "It motivated me and I almost cried to see her talk about it. After all, she also cares about the interests of young people. It was really good to hear it in the first person", she said.

According to Djamila Almeida, one of those responsible for the School 42 Management Committee, throughout the last phase of the admission tests to School 42 in Luanda, which will run until February 2024, "candidates will receive classes on introduction to programming and the first contact with teamwork, and will be tested in terms of dynamics, resilience and communication skills", the note reads.

The person in charge explained that candidates "will take weekly tests on Fridays" and those who "do well or are successful during these four weeks will be invited to be students at 42 Luanda".
