The “Governing Together” Program will reinforce the participation of Luanda residents in decision-making on the actions that should be developed by the Provincial Government in the nine municipalities of Luanda.
On the occasion, Manuel Homem said that the format of this government program will allow the Government management and provincial directors to monitor the activities to be carried out in each municipality.
“This program must be seen by each member that makes up the structure of the Government of the Province of Luanda as a reinforcement of the actions that we must all continue to carry out to impact and bring hope to the populations”, he said.
The Governor admitted that governing Luanda requires a new stance and commitment from its managers and continuous reflection on how to develop actions for the common good of the population.
“And this is what governing together wants to focus its action on, ensuring that each one of us, through this program, can also learn or improve the way the Government acts in relation to issues of citizenship and social inclusion”, he added.
Manuel Homem guaranteed to remain committed to awakening in managers the principle of individual responsibility, of commitment to the actions that are part of their responsibilities as public managers.
Above all, he said that the objective is to create in each person the desire to present a more humanized, responsible, more committed public service, where the fulfillment and response to the expectations that everyone has in governance is effectively achieved.
