“From now on, TAAG customers and passengers will be able to travel on a 'codeshare' basis to London (United Kingdom), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Rome, Milan (Italy), Geneva, Zurich (Switzerland), Brussels (Belgium) and Porto (Portugal)”, stands out in the note, issued this Monday.
TAAG adds that domestic destinations in Spain are also included, namely the cities of Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Gran Canaria, Vigo, Malaga, Bilbao, Valencia and Seville.
“The 'codeshare' regime allows a number of advantages to customers. Passengers now have more fare options to choose from, broader access to Iberia destinations available in the system, acquisition of a single ticket (for itinerary on both companies) purchased in the local currency and guarantee of protection on connecting flights”, reads up in the statement.
With the 'codeshare' regime, flight reservations, 'check-in' and baggage dispatch for trips with a stopover is also easier for passengers, defends TAAG.
Under the agreement between the two airlines, the Africa-Europe route (Luanda/Madrid/Luanda) is operated by TAAG, with the Europe-Europe connections carried out by Iberia, the carrier said.
