With a total area of 1,700 square metres, Deskontão represents an investment of two billion kwanzas and creates 70 new direct jobs and around 30 indirect jobs, says a statement sent by the brand to VerAngola.
The new store "continues the strong commitment, already recognized, in the universe of fresh products, representing 50 percent of the 900 square meters of sales area", they say. Partnerships with national suppliers and producers, namely fruit, vegetables, meat and fish are part of the brand's bets.
Deskontão asserts itself as a reference in its area of activity for its commitment to the quality of national products, but also for its continuous commitment to training teams in terms of customer service.
"Besides this, our value proposition also involves ensuring an operation according to the best practices in terms of service and food quality. It is the combination of all these things that guarantees us the trust of our customers, whether families or professionals who now have their favorite brand in Talatona", says António Leal, director general of Score Distribuição.
The new store is the brand's fifth and represents another step in Deskontão's expansion strategy, which maintains its focus on proximity to consumers, with the opening of two more stores in the next two years.
The opening ceremony was chaired by the Secretary of State for Trade, Amadeu Leitão Nunes, accompanied by the National Director of Internal Trade, Edna Capalo. The event was also attended by the municipal administrator of Talatona, Rui Duarte, representing the provincial government of Luanda, who was accompanied by Nádia Costa, administrator of the Urban District of Talatona.
Deskontão de Talatona will be open from Monday to Saturday, between 08:00 and 20:30, and on Sundays and holidays, from 08:00 to 18:30, providing 100 parking spaces. The cafeteria service is open from 07:30 daily.
