First edition of Expo Feito em Angola arrives in Luanda next month

The first edition of Expo Feito Angola will arrive in the capital next month. The event will take place between the 7th and 11th of December, in the Luanda-Bengo Economic Zone (ZEE) exhibition hall.

The fair – organized by Grupo Arena Eventos, with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Planning, and promoted by INAPEM – will have as its theme "Agriculture is the Basis and Industry the Decisive Factor" and will be held annually.

According to a note from INAPEM, to which VerAngola had access, the formal announcement of this first edition took place this Thursday, at an event that was attended by the Secretary of State for the Economy, Ivan Marques dos Santos, the PCA from INAPEM, João Nkosi and the CEO of Grupo Arena Eventos, Bruno Albernaz.

On the occasion, Ivan Marques dos Santos explained that the event is carried out with the aim of presenting what is done in the country: "It is with the aim of presenting what is done in Angola and encouraging the national market to buy what is made in our country that from the 7th to the 11th of December the Ministry of Economy and Planning will hold the first edition of Expo Feito em Angola 2022".

"The fair is also intended to increase the population's awareness of the economic, environmental and community impact of 'Made in Angola' goods and services", he added.

João Nkosi said that with the completion of the event the services 'Made in Angola' will be extended, delimiting bureaucracy and ensuring that companies interested in recognizing their brand can do so within five days. "Currently, the country is experiencing a different dynamic when it comes to the recognition of national brands, which was not possible 10 years ago", he added.

Regarding the costs of showing the products at the fair, Bruno Albernaz revealed that obtaining a square meter is worth 24,000 kwanzas, except for participants in the capital, which cost 30,000 kwanzas.
