"Identify who the subscribers of these accounts are. If we want to fight corruption, we must have coherence and morality to fight corruption, show transparent management", asked the union's spokesman, João Correia Neto, at a press conference on the strike in course, which started on Monday and ends on Friday.
In the 16-point claim book, presented in March of this year to the PGR management, the union demands, in the fifth point "that the bank statement of the economic guarantees, from the year in which they were collected (1980s) and proceed with the proper destination according to the law".
"Surprisingly, in recent times, they establish the opening of a new bank account at Banco Sol, this situation is no longer of the union", he said.
"The union only wants to help the country, drawing attention to the other sovereign bodies. We appeal to the President of the Republic to establish greater attention to the bodies of administration of justice, there is also no transparency in management", he added.
According to João Correia Neto, there is silence around this matter in the PGR, when the law establishes that those involved in the collection of these bonds have a counterpart of 5 percent.
"The same happens with other public administration bodies, such as the AGT [General Tax Administration], a direct contribution to what is their production. The courts are more advanced in this, the PGR, in its morbid way, continues to see this as a matter from another galaxy," he added.
The union spokesman reiterated that, for this matter, there is a need for the intervention of the President of the Republic, the deputies to the National Assembly, in order to know how the bond account is managed and what counterparts have its executors.
According to the same official, these are accounts created in the 1980s: "I wonder if they are still intact, is that money still there, why don't you take responsibility for those who manage these accounts, who are the subscribers to that account?", questioned.
João Correia Neto recalled that, in 2016, there was the Amnesty Law and the defendants in amnesty cases had deposited collateral as procedural guarantees.
"The PGR has already publicly presented how many amnesty cases were being investigated and the deposits were returned to the respective depositors? Certainly the PGR never did that", he stressed.
For the union leader, many of the complaints of the justice and administrative technicians of the PGR could be resolved with these funds.
