These are the 11 de Novembro stadium, the largest sports infrastructure in Angola, Ombaka, in Benguela province, and Chiazi, in Cabinda province, and the Tundavala stadium, in Huila province.
The four stadiums built from scratch were built in 2010, at the time of the African Cup of Nations hosted by Angola, in the same year.
With this decision, these venues are prohibited from hosting international matches, at the level of national teams and clubs, until the infrastructure is improved.
Exceptionally, CAF guided the holding of the game between the teams of Angola and Egypt, at the stadium 11 de Novembro, on the 12th of this month, to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar2022.
José Carlos Miguel said that those responsible for the aforementioned stadiums have to do everything possible to restore the sports venues as quickly as possible, taking into account FIFA and CAF recommendations.
