“Mayor a Copo”: Alentejo wines served “by the glass” in the main restaurants in Luanda

The “Mayor a Copo” program offers a wine tasting experience by the glass all over the capital, focusing on proximity to Angolans. This is an initiative of Adega Mayor, a Portuguese wine brand distributed in Angola by Angonabeiro, a company owned by the Nabeiro Group.

With the initiative, Alentejo wines from Adega Mayor will thus be available in the main restaurants in Luanda, "in a moderate consumption experience that opens the senses and will allow Angolans to taste the tastiest gastronomic proposals harmonized with the best wines", he says. a statement sent to VerAngola.

The "Mayor a Glass" program promotes the usefulness of wine, seeking to stimulate new moments of consumption and experimentation, with a service at the correct temperature, in which white wines are served between 10 and 12º and red wines between 16th and 18th, to guarantee the 'Mayor' experience.

"Adega Mayor's responsibility as a wine producer does not end when our wines reach our customers and consumers. It is part of our mission to educate for the moderate consumption of wine in perfect conditions", explains Nuno Moinhos, director -General of Angonabeiro.

Caiado Branco 2018, Caiado Tinto 2019, Selecção Branco 2017, Reserva 2017, Reserva do Comendador Branco 2016 and Reserva do Comendador Tinto 2014 are the wines that Angolans have the opportunity to taste with the "Mayor a Copo" program.
