The covid-19 pandemic forced the CFB to suspend travel to that village, located in the far east of the country, which made it difficult for the population and goods to circulate. The lack of that means of transportation led the population to ask for the return of the train.
Months after the trips had been suspended, the requests of the population were finally answered: the train will return to the Luau. For its return, scheduled for "Dipanda" day, the CFB administration indicated that it has already asked the local authorities for help to ensure that the security and anti-covid-19 measures are complied with.
Gonçalves Muandumba, governor of Moxico, quoted by the newspaper O País, considered that the train is an extremely important transport, since it enhances the development of that region.
He also left the guarantee that the province will help to prevent and fight the pandemic so that the vehicle continues to pass through that region.
