The incident occurred at the time of the crossing of the Kwanza River, when the craft, with eight people on board, suffered the attack of that mammal.
According to one of the survivors, the attack took place at the beginning of Sunday night, when the peasants were leaving the fields, pointing out that among the dead is a child whose body is missing.
The communal administrator of Muinha, Baptista Sambango, said that the incident was made known to the municipal administrator, stressing that because of the size of the river it is necessary to build a bridge for the crossing of the population.
