In this sense, the cooperation between the two companies is based on four main areas, which cover key sectors of the national economy, namely agriculture, trade, distribution and mobility.

According to Angop, the agreements will last for one year with the possibility of being renewed and will involve, on the telecommunications operator's side, Africell Angola and Afrimoney, and on the Carrinho side, Carrinho Comércio and Carrinho Agri.

On the occasion, Robert Rollman, Africell Group's Partnerships Manager, said he believed that the partnership now formalized would allow the national economy to be boosted, as well as bring advantages along the Lobito Corridor, adding that, while Africell is investing in telecommunications infrastructure along this railway line, the Carrinho Group has also invested with a focus on exporting products.

In turn, Kátia da Conceição, Afrimoney's CEO, highlighted the financial inclusion of small farmers. The director expressed confidence in the financial inclusion of small rural family farmers, since they already collaborate with Carrinho Agri.

According to the director, the telecommunications operator chose to approach Carrinho to be able to demonstrate the benefits of Afrimoney in agriculture.

"When it comes to agriculture, there is no better company than the Carrinho Group", said the director, who, quoted by Angop, highlighted that rural farmers are not part of the financial system, so this collaboration is crucial.

In addition to highlighting Carrinho Agri's performance in rural areas, she also highlighted the advantages of the Afrimoney service for family farmers, simplifying and making financial transactions more efficient.

David Maciel, CEO of Carrinho Agri, also spoke, considering that the collaboration with Africell and the Afrimoney service reflects a commitment to the sustainable and inclusive growth of the country's rural communities, and also acknowledged that farmers, especially in more remote areas, find it difficult to use banking services, and therefore welcomed the inclusion of Afrimoney's digital money platforms.

According to the official, "new opportunities" are being created so that producers are able to make transactions more efficiently, as well as strengthening "their economic power": "We are creating new opportunities so that these producers can not only transact more efficiently, but also strengthen their economic power", he said, quoted by Angop.
