According to a government statement, to which VerAngola had access, this working day aims to evaluate the execution and implementation of projects that aim to improve services for "the capital's growing population".
The journey began at 6:30 am, at the Bom Jesus Distribution Center, from where the delegation went to collect the New Quilonga Grande Water Supply System, which is being built in Icolo and Bengo.
"This system will have a production capacity of 518 thousand cubic meters per day, benefiting approximately 3.5 million inhabitants, and will have 107 km of pipelines, in addition to distribution centers in the areas of Cacuaco 2, Zango, Novo Aeroporto, Km 30 , Capalanga, Bom Jesus and Piv", says the statement.
After the observation at Quilonga, the delegation's agenda also includes an assessment of the Water Treatment Station (ETA) of this system, as well as the construction of the Distribution Center in Bom Jesus.
"Next, visits are planned to the Training Center in Kikuxi and the Calungu Water Treatment Station (ETA), where the level of execution of the works will be verified", points out the statement.
The journey does not stop here, a visit to the Vila Flor Substation is also planned, which has "an installed power of 40 MVA and will meet the needs of the local community".
The delegation also has on its agenda a review of the works at the Bita Water Treatment Station, which aims to "produce 259,200 cubic meters of water per day, with a storage capacity of 100,000 cubic meters".
Bita will have 65 kilometers of pipelines, in addition to "distribution centers in the areas of Bita, Cabolombo, Ramiros and Morro dos Veados".
According to the statement, the working day ends at the Calombo Distribution Center, works of Benfica II and the Morro Bento Distribution Center (UGP), which will enable the "extension of the water supply network for this community".
