The national Consumer Price Index (IPC) for September of the current year shows a variation of 1.63 percent in relation to August, corresponding to an increase of 0.02 percentage points, reversing the slowdown that had been occurring since May.
The data indicates that the provinces that recorded the greatest monthly variation in prices were Bengo, Cabinda and Namibe.
The sectors with the greatest weight in price increases in September were education with 4.10 percent, leisure, recreation and culture with 2.25 percent, hotels, cafes and restaurants with 2.23 percent and health with 2.21 percent. cent.
The document points out that in the period under analysis, the food and non-alcoholic beverages class contributed to the increase in the general price level with one percentage point, followed by the miscellaneous goods and services classes with 0.10 percentage points, health and education with 0.09 percentage points each, clothing and footwear and hotels, cafes and restaurants with 0.07 percentage points each.
