With the launch of the 'Os Invisíveis' campaign on various media, including TV, radio, press, digital and various other offline channels, Fidelidade intends to highlight the importance of these professionals for society and reinforce the need for accident insurance as a fundamental pillar of labor protection.
"This is the first time that an Angolan insurance company has launched a national campaign that aims to recognize the efforts of all those who, although often not visible, are fundamental to the growth of our country. Accident insurance is an essential tool to ensure their protection and guarantee the necessary support in the most critical moments", stated Fidelidade's CEO, Luís Alves.
Thousands of workers contribute daily to the country's progress and development. Many of these professionals, however, face vulnerable working conditions and lack the necessary protection. Accident insurance, mandatory in Angola, is an essential measure to guarantee the safety and well-being of these workers, ensuring that, in the event of an accident, both they and their families receive the necessary support.
According to the National Statistics Institute (INE), there are 11 million Angolans employed, and recent data from the National Social Security Institute (INSS) indicate that only 2.8 million are duly registered with Social Security and of these, it is estimated that more than two million are unprotected in the event of accidents at work.
In 2023, Fidelidade registered the third largest client portfolio in the work accidents sector, having successfully closed more than 2300 claims – figures that reflect the company's ongoing commitment to ensuring an efficient response and care for workers who suffer accidents at work. Thus, Fidelidade remains dedicated to offering accessible solutions and acting efficiently in claims management, reaffirming its commitment to protecting workers and building a safer and more equitable future for all.
