The Contemporary Dance Company of Angola (CDC) and the Cuarteto Flamenco Raul Corredor will present, on October 21st, 'Diálogos em Movimento', which concerns a joint creation of these two entities under the artistic direction of Ana Clara Guerra Marques and Raul Corredor.
The show will take place at the Memorial António Agostinho Neto.
Starting at 6pm, this show arises from the interest expressed by Spanish guitarist Raul Corredor in returning to work with the Contemporary Dance Company of Angola, with which he had brief contact during a previous visit to the country.
Therefore, the purpose of this presentation is to share with the public the result of creative laboratory work where 16 artists – Angolan, Cuban and Spanish – discovered countless possible dialogues between music and art African contemporary identity dance from CDC Angola and music and dance of Spanish ancestral origins.
Constituting the highlight of the stay of this quartet (composed of three musicians and a dancer) in the country, the event is sponsored by the Spanish Embassy in Angola, in a joint production with CDC Angola.
