'Simplifica' results presented this Thursday at CaféCIPRA

The results of the implementation of the 'Simplifica' 1.0 and 2.0 project, from its beginning in 2021 until now, will be presented this Thursday, at 3 pm, in the tenth edition of CaféCIPRA, with the theme “Impact of Simplifica on the life of the citizen”.

CaféCIPRA, held at the Press Center of the Presidency of the Republic, will welcome in this edition, as facilitators, the Secretary of the President of the Republic for State Reform, Pedro Fiete, the national director of Identification, Records and Notary Affairs, Aristides Marques , the director of the Migration and Foreigners Service, commissioner João da Costa Dias, and the director of Traffic and Road Safety, commissioner Elias Dumbo Livulu.

This initiative aims to be a space for direct and open dialogue between government officials and representatives of society, with live broadcast on the Government and CIPRA's Facebook and YouTube pages.

The Executive, through the Secretariat of the President of the Republic for State Reform, promotes the implementation of the 'Simplifica' project, with the aim of "gradually reducing the excess bureaucracy that exists in the handling of administrative processes and improving the public service provided to citizens and to companies in State departments", says the Government's website.

Currently, the level of implementation of 'Simplifica' 1.0 is in the order of 76 percent, considering that 23 acts, out of a total of 32, are fully executed and will facilitate citizens' access to public services, as well as reducing time service and response to your requests.

Of the 99 planned measures, 75 are actually implemented within the scope of project 1.0, approved by Presidential Decree No. 161/21, of 21 June.

'Simplifica' 2.0, created by Presidential Decree no. 182/22, of 22 July, has a level of execution of 37.1 percent, as seven of the 26 planned acts and 33 measures of the 89 programmed.

The goal is to eliminate 121 requirements, of the 291 existing in the Public Administration, unify 13 documents that cover identical and transversal matters, extend the validity period of ten documents and licenses and integrate 20 procedures currently carried out by different services.
