Instituto Superior 'Deolinda Rodrigues' offers more than 1000 scholarships

The Instituto Superior 'Deolinda Rodrigues' will make available, for the current academic year (2022/2023), a total of 1600 scholarships. As a result of a partnership signed last year between the school and the National Youth Council (CNJ), the scholarships will be awarded to youth (whose beneficiaries will be candidates registered with the CNJ).

The 1600 grants will be divided into two centers, namely 1000 will be destined for the Zango center and the remaining 600 for Kilamba Kiaxi, writes Angop.

This measure aims to help with the introduction and inclusion of more young people in higher education, according to the administrator of the educational establishment, Jorge Muacassange, to Angop.

In addition, the official continued, the expansion of scholarships for young people also appears in accordance with the monetary needs of some groups and also in the simplification of the mobility of populations to nearby universities.

The CNJ's commitment to reducing the number of young people who are not in the education subsystem and adjusting it according to financial, social and cultural needs, was recalled by Isaías Kalunga, president of the CNJ, who also took the opportunity to mention that the objective is to allow the population to gain access to educational establishments ensuring the principle of equality, writes Angop.

Cited by Angop, he also referred that "the increase in the offer of universities" has already enabled his institution to reach more than 30 thousand internal scholarships: "The increase in the offer of universities has already allowed the CNJ to reach approximately more than thirty thousand scholarships for internal study".

The 'Deolinda Rodrigues' institute has been open since 2012 and has degrees in the fields of Human Sciences, Health and Engineering.
