Basic Basket Price Regulatory Agency will be launched in the country

The country will have a Regulatory Agency for Basic Basket Prices. Its launch is foreseen in the agenda of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for the next five years.

This entity will serve to support the normalization and control of trade in the country, with the aim being the promotion of internal trade, transiting through the redefinition of basic basket goods, writes Expansão.

According to guarantees left by Victor Fernandes, Minister of Industry and Commerce, at the meeting that marked the start of the mandate for the next five years and where the objectives of the National Development Plan (PND) were defined, in the coming days the details and execution stages of the structure, whose plan concerns the conception of the trade chain in the country, writes Expansão.

The plan for these sectors comprises four pillars, focusing on the evolution of the industry and the promotion of rural commerce.

According to Expansão, although the economic environment is disadvantageous for the fields of industry and commerce, the tutelage initially wants to achieve results in the development of the industry by investing in the license of activities in this sector, rectification of the laws of the industrial branch and reconversion of the economy.

The objectives of this new program do not mention the financing of industrial activity in Angola, writes Expansão.
