The score was opened by the Turkish team, who scored the first goal of the match – which took place at the Galatasaray stadium, in Turkey – in the 18th minute.
Three minutes later (at 21 minutes), Angola managed to stop the disadvantage, with Heno Guilherme equalizing the score one ball to one.
The national team and its opponent followed until half-time tied. However, according to Angop, the tie was short-lived, with the Angolans eventually giving in to the difficulties imposed by the biased refereeing in some situations of the game.
At 30 and 41 minutes, the host team took the lead, scoring their second and third goals, respectively.
According to Angop, it was one minute from the final whistle (in the 49th minute) that the national team, when trying to reduce the disadvantage and in a nervous situation due to the difficulties of the match, saw Turkey score the fourth goal.
Thus, the national team took home the 'silver', having won the title of runner-up as happened in 2014, in Mexico.
Remember that Angola qualified for the final of the competition last Friday, after having defeated Haiti.
