Angola qualifies for the semi-finals of the Adapted Football World Cup

Angola qualified this Thursday for the semi-finals of the Adapted Football World Cup. The passage to the next stage of the competition was guaranteed after the national football team for amputees won the opponents of Brazil, by two balls to one.

Hilário Cufula was the author of the two goals of the national team, both through the penalty, at four and seven minutes.

According to Angop, in the face of attacking pressure from Angola, the Brazil goalkeeper ended up defending the ball using the crutch, an action considered a foul.

The Brazilian counterpart's goal, according to Angop, resulted from a perseverance move that took the national team by surprise, becoming the second goal conceded by the national goalkeeper, Sebastião Cacumba, in the competition.

With this victory, the national team stamped its passage to the semi-finals. The game takes place on Friday, where Angola will play Haiti.

The world cup is taking place in Istanbul, Turkey.
