At the inauguration of the new consultants, João Lourenço greeted the invested consultants, reiterating his confidence in continuing the work with this group to uplift the country, writes Angop.
Also this Friday, the head of state also swore in the new commander of the War Navy, Admiral Valentim Alberto António, to whom he recommended more efforts to re-equip the Angolan Navy (MGA).
"We are counting on you in the project to re-equip the Navy, with a view to making it rise to the great challenges of a country that has thousands of kilometers of coastline", said João Lourenço, quoted by Angop.
He also emphasized the experience and career of the new commander, considering that he will be able to help improve projects for the development of this domain.
In turn, Valentim António, also quoted by Angop, said that the focus will be on work to improve the contribution of the Navy to protect the country's waters.
The President also swore in the new ambassador to Guinea-Bissau, Mário Augusto, the new assistant inspectors general, Sílvia Adriana Ferreira and Julião Cristóvão, as well as the 37 new vice provincial governors.
