Chitocota Thermal Waters, known for being medicinal, are located in Chilesso, municipality of Andulo, in Bié.
At a temperature above 50 degrees, these waters are sought after to treat a range of diseases, with emphasis on rheumatism and scabies.
The waters are believed to have been discovered by a hunter, who, following the footsteps of animals along the mountain, spotted this place, from which hot water gushed.
