Adjany Costa also joins the Angolans João Kanda, Ambassador for World Peace to the International Community, and Cecilia Bernardo, Director for Exchange at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Environment.

The national figures are now on the list of the 100 most influential people in the world for the organization.

According to a UN statement, cited by the Angolan newspaper Jornal de Angola, João Kanda and Adjany Costa were distinguished in the "Governance" and "Political" sectors. Cecilia Bernardo received the award in the "Heroes of Climate Action" sector.

João Kanda and Adjany Costa are the second Angolans to receive the award in these sectors, after two years ago the UN awarded the prize to Minister Adão de Almeida.

This award is given every year to young people under 40 years of age who stand out internationally in various sectors.
