"Angola is preparing to witness the first major ZAP Globes gala," the channel said in a statement sent to VerAngola, which states that the winners will be known on Saturday from 4pm.
"After three weeks of voting, the organization is focused on preparing the great event, which promises to be glamorous, emotional and, at all events, remarkable. Pedro N'zagi will host a ceremony that will begin in the afternoon and end at night. The alignment of the program foresees attractions designed to impress the audience of the channel, providing everyone with an unprecedented television show", can be read in the document.
The recognition of the winners is the main focus of this gala, however, the event promises to "surprise with several other moments".
"They will parade on the red carpet some of the most iconic national celebrities. With the glamour that is already characteristic to them, ZAP Viva stars will be part of the universe of notables that will brighten up the ceremony," indicates the channel.
The event will take place without public presence due to security measures against covid-19.
"Best Music, Best Urban Music Group, Best Modern-Traditional Music Group, Best Singer, Best Singer, Best Live ZAP Viva Music Show, Best Presenter, Best Reporter, Best Entertainment Program, Best Current Events Program, Best Talent Program, these are the 12 categories for a single award in each," the statement says.
According to ZAP Viva, the trophies were produced by Vista Alegre Atlantis. "This prototype is, alone, the third best crystal in the world with 30 percent lead. A curiosity about it: no two pieces are the same, because they are made by hand", he adds.
