According to a statement from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, which VerAngola had access to, with this initiative, "the region's business community will have access to faster and more efficient services to deal with legal issues relating to their companies".
The inauguration ceremony took place in Moçâmedes and was witnessed by the governor of Namibe, Arguer Mangueira, as well as by the general director of GUE, the vice-governor for the Political, Economic and Social Sector, the provincial delegate for Justice and Human Rights, local businesspeople, among other guests.
On the occasion, the provincial governor highlighted the "importance of the new service to boost the business environment in the province".
"The implementation of the Single Window for Companies is part of an ongoing process by the Government to improve the business environment in Angola, offering greater speed and transparency in the services provided to entrepreneurs", reads the statement from the ministry.
According to the note, the expectation is that the Namibe GUE will contribute significantly "to the dynamization of the local economy, attracting new investments and facilitating the growth of already established businesses".
