Speaking at the launch gala of The Energy Year magazine, 2024 edition, held last Friday in Luanda, the executive director of ANPG, Alcides Andrade, challenged "investors to invest in the 30 business opportunities that the national concessionaire is making available in 2025, through the bidding for blocks in the Lower Kwanza and Benguela basins and through the permanent offer regime".
Quoted in a statement from ANPG, to which VerAngola had access, the official said that nine blocks are available in the Lower Kwanza and Benguela basins, in addition to the blocks on permanent offer, making a total of 30 opportunities.
"Nine blocks are available in the Lower Kwanza and Benguela basins, in addition to the blocks on permanent offer. At this point, we have 30 opportunities available to investors", said Alcides Andrade.
According to the administrator, the Government, in the area of the national concessionaire, is "open to doing business, with flexibility and a focus on ensuring contractual and fiscal stability, in order to find mutually beneficial solutions".
At the gala, those involved in the sector were also awarded prizes, with ANPG being recognized as 'Public Institution of the Year'.
The list of winners also includes the CEO of Etu Energias, Edson dos Santos, and Chevron, which won the categories of 'Personality of the Year' and 'Operator of the Year', respectively.
"ANPG recognises and encourages the relationship between our industry and specialist communications, as it allows for a more in-depth approach to the different forms of action and vision of industry stakeholders in Angola", said the executive administrator of the national concessionaire, quoted in the statement.
