The PCE of BAI – Banco Angolano de Investimentos, Luís Lélis, was one of the main speakers at the event, where he also discussed the 2050 strategy and presented a "promising" vision for the country, highlighting the economic potential, despite the legal and regulatory challenges that must be addressed to attract significant investment.

For the President of the BAI Executive Committee, Luís Lélis, "Angola is well positioned to attract investors and overcome challenges as it seeks to harness all of its great potential".

The country's rapid population growth was also one of the highlights.

With an average annual growth of around one million people, creating jobs for young people and access to quality education are other critical challenges.

To overcome these challenges, Lélis highlighted the need to "think outside the box", for example with the participation of the banking sector in the search for solutions and better coordination between government departments, to understand and respond to urgent economic priorities.

The manager highlighted that BAI has a strong commitment to the development of human capital and maintains an unparalleled competitive advantage through collaborations with institutes and universities in several countries, also highlighting the role that the institution it represents has played, supporting the development of the country in various sectors and through various initiatives, having been the first Angolan institution to be listed on the stock exchange.
