TAAG passed an international air safety audit

The results of an audit carried out on TAAG – Linhas Aéreas de Angola, in May 2022, have now been released. The flag company has been approved and will obtain the Certificate of Registration as a Safe Operator.

According to a statement from the airline, quoted by Angop, the audit focused on the areas of organization and control of the quality system, operational safety, flight operations, operational dispatch, maintenance and engineering, cabin crew, ground operations, cargo operations. and security against acts of unlawful interference.

TAAG also states that this result demonstrates the company's alignment with the best practices of the international aeronautical industry. "The continuous improvement of the operational safety (safety) of our services and management processes is an inalienable commitment of TAAG. Being 'compliance' is a reinforcement of our credibility, operational capacity and added value to our passengers and stakeholders in general" , says Eduardo Fairen, CEO of TAAG, quoted in the statement.

This audit, called IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit), is an internationally recognized and accepted audit to assess the state of operational safety of airlines belonging to IATA.
