The five establishments, of which two are being built in the municipality of Uíge and the others in the municipalities of Songo, Quimbele and Maquela do Zombo, will be able to accommodate 10,800 students.

The infrastructures, according to Angop Abrão Muanza, head of the Monitoring and Control Department of the Study, Statistics and Planning Office (GEEP), will have a total of 120 classrooms.

When talking about the pace of the project – valued at 39,990,600 dollars and financed by Spain –, the official explained that the installation of doors, windows and panels is already underway.

According to Angop, the project was applauded by Benilde Gombo, head of the Department of Statistical Planning and Human Resources of the Provincial Education Office.

The official reasoned that the infrastructures will allow the entry of more students, writes Angop.
