From distribution to banking, through consumer products and international brands, the Superbrands project – present in Angola for more than a decade – evaluated, for the first time, not only the brands relevant to the consumer, but also the corporate brands, which operate in the business-to-business dimension, highlighting the role of brands and organizations with a high impact on the Angolan market.
Of the various brands chosen, some were chosen successively in all editions of the project, as is the case of Sistec, TPA and Expansão. Others were re-elected: Aliança Seguros, Angoalissar, Angomart, BFA, Casa dos Frescos, ENSA, Fidelidade, Kibabo, Luanda Medical Center, Momo, Novo Jornal, Perla, Special, Suave, Unitel, Valinho and ZAP.
The debutants were Bom Dia, Centrooptico, DSTV, Heetch, Sanlam and Tio Lucas.
In the 'Business-To-Business' dimension, the brands were highlighted by professionals, being recognized as Superbrands Corporate. In this area, Grupo Arena, Epic Sana Hotels, Forbes África Lusófona and Grupo Mitrelli stood out.
Some brands were even recognized in both dimensions, such as BFA, Ensa, Luanda Medical Center, Sistec, Unitel and ZAP.
"The Superbrands distinction seeks to distinguish the brands that, in each market, are more relevant in the consumer's mind. When distinguished as Superbrands, the brand receives a visible and clear recognition by the market, in an impartial and fair way, as a result of the evaluation made by the consumer and by the Superbrands Council, a panel of top professionals in organizations", said Pedro Diogo Vaz, Senior Partner of Superbrands Angola, in a statement sent to VerAngola.
The awards gala took place at the Hotel Epic Sana Luanda, with a space for brand activation and cocktails for the guests, with the comedian Kotingo in charge of the presentation.
