The athlete ran the 100 meters freestyle at 01:03.60 this Wednesday, having ranked 47th among the 67 competitors.
This Thursday, the Angolan swimmer will compete again, this time in the 50 meters mariposa event.
Other Angolan athletes also compete in this world championship, including Yusseni Furtado, Alex Fortes and N'hara Fernandes.
