The public tender for the bidding of new oil blocks was launched on April 30th, and the winner will be announced on September 14th.
"However, the deadline set for September 14th appeared to be insufficient for an adequate analysis of the proposals presented, conditioning, in this way, the opportune decision-making by ANPG", justifies the concessionaire in a statement.
In this sense, the deadline for the announcement of the result of the award of the tender referring to the 2020 Bidding process was extended, for a period of seven working days, starting from the 14th of September.
The tender covers nine blocks in the Lower Congo and Kwanza onshore basins (CON1, CON5, CON6, KON5, KON6, KON8, KON9, KON17 and KON20).

The National Agency for Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG), this Thursday announced the postponement for seven days of the announcement of the decision on the result of the tender for the bidding of new oil blocks.
