The measure was approved Tuesday at the Council of Ministers and, according to a statement issued at the end of the meeting, the law will allow, "in an uninterrupted way, the promotion and negotiation of bidding blocks not awarded, of free areas in concession blocks and of concessions granted to the National Concessionaire, to enhance and attract investment in exploration and production activities of oil and natural gas, through the public tender procedure".
The Council of Ministers also approved a memorandum on the process of installing services for issuing Identity Cards at Angolan diplomatic and consular missions, according to a statement consulted by Lusa.
This memorandum also consecrates the expansion of data collection services and the attribution of the Identity Card in the Angolan territory.
The Council of Ministers also considered, for submission to the National Assembly, the draft anti-doping law, which "establishes the legal framework against doping in sports, adopting the international anti-doping standards and principles applicable in Angolan domestic law".
The executive considered that this bill is necessary to "harmonize the ordinary legislation in force to the International Convention Against Doping in Sport and the World Anti-Doping Code", as well as its adjustment to the Angolan Constitution and "the social, cultural and national sport reality".
"The approval and efficient application of this diploma will contribute to the observance of the principles of ethics and truth in national sport, resulting in a regulated sport regarding the use of prohibited substances and the preservation of the health of sports practitioners," the Council of Ministers added.
The Council of Ministers also approved more than a dozen agreements and bilateral cooperation instruments with Turkey, in areas such as economy, trade, mineral resources or transport.
