The subject was addressed this Wednesday by the general director of SME, commissioner João Dias, and the Belgian ambassador to Angola, Josef Smets, in an audience granted by the Angolan leader.
João Dias, quoted by Angop, said that many evoke situations that the country no longer lives, with the reach of peace in 2002, denigrating in some way the image of the Angolan Government and State.
The meeting aimed to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions, having dominated the meeting topics such as the situation of Angolans living in the European country and vice versa, bilateral agreements between the two states, cooperation in education, human trafficking, as well as the growing tendency to request the status of refugees in Belgium.
