On August 22nd, the EGAF Academy will host a training session on the Customs Tariff of the SADC Free Trade Area (AfCFTADC).
The training will take place from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Hotel Trópico.
Including a coffee break and a certificate, the event's overall objective is to train customs technicians, foreign trade agents, economic operators, and policymakers on the principles, rules, and procedures applicable to the customs tariff within the AfCFTADC context, promoting the strategic use of regional economic integration opportunities.
Specific training objectives include, for example, understanding the foundations and objectives of the AfCFTADC, correctly interpreting the harmonized customs tariff within the SADC context, and more.
Regional Integration in the SADC; Customs Tariff and Classification of Goods; SADC Rules of Origin; Customs Procedures and Preferential Trade and Angola in the AfCFTADC – Challenges and Opportunities are the training's program contents.
