Using her Instagram page, Weza Solange made it known that there were more than 4000 nominations, but only 40 women were distinguished with this award.
"There were more than 4000 nominations of extraordinary women in Gauteng Province and only 40 women were honored in the international 'Gauteng Women of Wonder' award", she wrote, adding that she was "one of the women considered worthy to receive the International Gauteng WOW award (Extraordinary Women) Awards in South Africa".
In the publication, Weza Solange also mentions that the basis of the award is her work: "The recognition was for my work on TV and cinema, for my business performance with Sol Healing Wellness, my brand of organic products, and for my involvement in social and philanthropic projects".
According to the Angolan woman, "the winners of this award are women who have a positive impact and influence on their community and society", making use of "their power and influence to help, motivate, mentor and empower".
In another post, Weza Solange congratulates "all the other amazing recipients".
It should be noted that this award also takes place in Dubai, London and Mauritius.
