According to a brief note from the Presidency of the Republic, accessed by VerAngola, the meeting was dominated by "the strengthening of relations between Luanda and New Delhi".

On the occasion, the diplomat admitted "the imbalance of these relations in favor of Angola", leaving the promise to "work harder to improve the flow".

Pratibha Parkar – speaking at the end of the press meeting – advanced that his country's businessmen have their eyes set on the various "business opportunities" that exist in Angolan territory, with interest falling into the fields of health, mining, agriculture and food processing.

"We can say that businessmen are aware of and very interested in the various existing business opportunities in Angola", stated the official.

It should be recalled that, at the end of June, a delegation from the Apollo group (a health institution in India) visited the Cardeal Dom Alexandre do Nascimento Hospital Complex for Cardio-Pulmonary Diseases, with a view to strengthening cooperation in the field of health.
