Interclube opened the scoring in the opening minutes of the match – which took place at the Estádio Nacional de Ombaka –, with Dioguinho scoring in the seventh minute, but the match was going to be a long one.
However, Wiliete de Benguela did not let go, with Gazeta equalizing the score in the 26th minute, writes Angop.
Even before the half-time whistle, Interclube took the lead with a goal from Buba in the 40th minute and four minutes later Dioguinho scored again. Interclube went into halftime with a difference of two points.
In the second half, Sukuia scored the second goal for Wiliete de Benguela (62 minutes) and in the 75th minute, Wiliete de Benguela managed to equalize with a goal from Gazeta, writes Angop.
Thus, the 90 minutes of the match did not serve to define a champion, which was only found in the penalties, where Interclube proved to be more efficient.
According to Angop, at the end of the competition, Dioguinho (Interclube) was elected as the top scorer while Langanga (Sagrada Esperança) won the title of less beaten goalkeeper.
This tournament is the result of an initiative by Wiliete de Benguela in partnership with the Government of Benguela and, in addition to Wiliete de Benguela, the 1st of August, Interclube, Recreativo do Libolo, Sagrada Esperança, Onze Bravos do Maqui, Desportivo da Lunda Sul and Académica do Lobito, writes to Angop.
