The information was released this Thursday, during a mass act that takes place in Cuanza Norte, as part of the electoral campaign.

In his speech, João Lourenço mentioned that with the construction of the institute, the intention is to prevent young people from having to go to other areas in search of training opportunities, ensuring that they are able to help the development of the province, writes Angop.

Among the promises made by the candidate is also the construction of the Ndalatando ring road.

Still within the road sector, he expressed the desire to build ring roads in the provinces of Kwanza Norte, Malanje, Benguela and Kwanza Sul, with the intention that the circulation of national roads does not pass through the city centres.

Cited by Angop, João Lourenço also referred to the recovery of the Luanda Railway section and the section linking Zenza to Cacuso, as well as the roads and bridges in that province.

In his speech, he also highlighted the completion of the Cuanza Norte Passenger Bus Terminal, which is 99 percent complete.

He also took advantage of the occasion to appeal again for respect for the results of the elections: "Those who should not fear. We will respect the results that are announced by the National Electoral Commission", he said, quoted by Angop.
