PR approves extra credits for investments in Benguela, Luanda and Namibe

On the eve of the executive's entry into current management, the President of the Republic approved 234 million dollars in non-budgeted credits, of which more than half for investments in Benguela, Luanda and Namibe.

Additional additional credits are contemplated in presidential decrees published in the Diário da República of 23 July, to which Lusa had access.

In question is the payment of expenses related to the projects of the provincial government of Namibe, expenses to support development and the Public Investment Program of the provincial government of Luanda and expenses related to the operational and investment projects of the province of Benguela.

In another presidential decree, the President of the Republic authorized the opening of additional additional credit in the amount of 35 billion kwanzas (81 million dollars) for the expenses inherent to the granting of subsidies to the prices of basic food products within the scope of the operationalization of the Strategic Food Reserve (REA).

In another diploma, João Lourenço, who is re-candidate for a new mandate and started the campaign for the elections of 24 August on 24 July, authorized the expense for the contracting, by direct agreement, of maintenance services for inspection equipment not of the General Tax Administration, in the amount of 301 million kwanzas (693 thousand dollars).

The objective is to control the international traffic of goods, prevent tax evasion and fraud, as well as the illicit traffic of goods.
