According to a statement sent to VerAngola, Geração 80 will be at the festival with five films, including two feature films and three short films.
"Ar Condicionado" by Fradique, "Para Lá dos Meus Passos" by Kamy Lara, "1999" by Hugo Salvaterra, "Lúcia No Céu Com Semáforos" by Ery Claver and "Não Olhes, Senão Vês" by Fradique", are the films Angolans who will be at the festival.
According to the note, the festival's program will focus on "film from Portuguese-speaking countries", as is the case of Angola. The festival thus proposes "a new look at Lusophony, as a rhizome that blossoms into something new and that deserves to be widely encouraged and disseminated".
