Coach Mateus Agostinho 'Bodunha' leaves the command of Petro de Luanda

The coach of Petro de Luanda Mateus Agostinho 'Bodunha' confirmed this Sunday, through the team's webpage, that he will not guide the team in the Angolan soccer campenate 2021/22, due to the lack of B and A licenses.

:

As a measure to reverse the situation, the coach travels, in the coming days, to Barcelona, in search of that licensing, after being prevented by the Confederation of African Football from guiding the team in African competitions.

"Me and the direction of the club reached an agreement that in the next few days I will go to Barcelona, where, in six months, I will do the trainings to obtain the licenses B and A. I am an ambitious coach, so I accepted, and I thank Petro de Luanda for the opportunity to increase my knowledge levels" said the coach.

In the 2020/2021 season, the coach was prevented from guiding Petro de Luanda, in the African Champions League, a fact regretted by the coach.

"It was a failure for us. We had no leadership, because it is not possible to guide the team from the bench. I felt a lot of difficulty because the communication was not direct. We can't take the same risk in the season ahead," said the coach.
