Tokyo2020: Juliana Moco, Regina Dumbo and Manuel Jaime represent athletics team

Athletes Juliana Moco and Regina Dumbo and Manuel Jaime are chosen to represent national athletics at the XVI edition of the Paralympic Games, in Tokyo, announced Angolan coach José Manuel.

Juliana Moco, T11-completely visually impaired, competes in the 100, 200 and 400 meter races.

Regina Dumbo, T11-completely visually impaired, competes in the 200 and 400 meters, although her participation is pending a spot by the International Paralympic Committee.

Manuel Jaime, T46-disabled in an upper limb, competes in the 1,500 meter race.

The Angolan coach said that the goal is to reach, at least, the semi-finals.

The Angolan team heads to Lisbon in the coming days to continue a stage whose first phase ended in Malanje province, before moving to Tokyo, where it will compete for the seventh time in the Paralympic Games.

José Armando Sayovo, former sprinter, class T11, is the top exponent of Angola, with three gold medals won in the 100, 200 and 400 meters, in the games in Athens.
