President swears in new ambassadors at the Presidential Palace

Five new Ambassadors, three residents and two non-residents, were accredited this Thursday morning to the State, in an act that took place at the Presidential Palace, in Luanda.

As is the tradition in this type of acts, the diplomats presented their credentials to the Head of State, with the testimony of members of the Executive, the Office of the President of the Republic and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

One by one, President João Lourenço spoke with all the Ambassadors as they were accredited, says a government statement that VerAngola had access to.

The diplomats who will represent their countries residing in Angola are Alejandro Verdir (Argentina), Monique Ekpongs (Nigeria) and Potasio Nnaga (Equatorial Guinea) and the non-residents, Batlang Serema (Botswana) and Christina Buchan (Canada).
