Nana Akufo-Addo said that, overall, the agreement will create mechanisms whereby the two countries, on a regular basis, will consult with each other without requiring the visit of the Presidents of both countries, and these consultations may be carried out by technicians, that will secure cooperation agreements.

In turn, President João Lourenço, considered the visit "a success", for having managed to achieve the objective he set before leaving Angola.

"We defined cooperating in very important domains such as the oil sector, in which both countries are producers, cooperating in the domain of agriculture, agriculture and livestock, tourism, culture and others that the two countries may identify," stated João Lourenço.

"For this reason, we left the city of Accra satisfied, with a feeling of mission accomplished, by the fact that we have found a perfect identity of points of view on all the matters we address, regarding the need to strengthen the African Continental Free Trade Zone, with regard to the need to strengthen security in the Gulf of Guinea and on other matters in the domain of international politics, in addition to those in the domain of bilateral relations between the two countries", he stressed.

Speaking to the press, the head of diplomacy, Téte António, reinforced that interest in cooperation in the areas of defence, aviation and the mining industry was expressed.

According to Téte António, Angola is important in the field of defence, specifically in training, taking into account Ghana's long experience in this matter.

"There are issues that interest us, in the field of defence, including training issues, even for the international aspect, we know that here there is the Kofi Hanan center, the center dedicated to peacekeeping issues and Ghana is a traditionally country. contributor of United Nations contingents, is one of the 'tops', as early as the 1960s, Ghana was involved in these operations," he stressed.

As for Ghana, according to the foreign minister, "it is very interested" in the Angolan experience in oil exploration.
"They are starting and would like to have Angola's 'know-how', because we have trained many technicians in this field, who can take advantage of it," he stressed.
