In a two-hour show, many surprises were reserved for viewers of Zap Novelas.

At the beginning of the program, the exterior of the Zap studios was taken over by holographers that featured the six finalists. This was the first appearance of Akamba Vanene (Bié), Barulho do Semba (Huíla), Lobito Dance Group (Benguela), Os Vilões, Luís Massango and Tássio José.

The six competitors danced together on stage for the last time in this first edition of BAI Dança com Rhythm. The dance took hold of everyone and the judges and the hosts of the program were joined in sync.

Very moved, jurors C4 Pedro, Anderson Manjenje, Florinda Miranda and teacher Ana Clara Guerra-Marques showed their eagerness for the program, says a statement sent to VerAngola.

Florinda made a point of saying that "we didn't want to leave" and that "another body of judges will never be created like that". Professor Ana Clara spoke in a mixture of sensations: "First of nostalgia and also of a duty fulfilled".

Anderson Manjenje, in turn, mentioned that being part of the jury for "is the best recognition of his professional career".

Voting for the election of the three superfinalists had been open since the end of the previous gala, and the public decided that Akamba Vanene, Barulho do Semba and Tássio José had to be closer to the grand prix.

With the ballots down to zero, the superfinalists had their freestyle moment, to prove their worth for the last time. And it was based on this last performance that the viewers of Zap Novelas decided.

In first place was Tássio José, in second Akamba Vanene and in third Barulho do Semba.

It should be remembered that the second and third place winners also took home, paid via e-kwanza, 700 and 500 thousand Kwanzas, respectively, for one year of health insurance and one year of the Zap Premium package.
Another big winner of the night was Paul G, in the Public Figures Dance challenge. After Ricardo Helton's withdrawal, the audience asked Kelly Silva to rejoin the party.

To win, Paul G danced three of his classics and Kelly Silva recalled his hit "5 minutes" and DJ Leo Cris overflowed gracefully to the big stage.

The jury's decision was clear and with 39 points Paul G took home a Vista Alegre trophy and a shopping voucher at the FreshMart supermarket to donate to a charity of his choice.

The repetition of the final of BAI Dança Com Ritmo is already next Saturday, August 14th, on the ZAP Novelas channel, while Mozambique and Portugal watch it on ZAP Viva Internacional.
