The photography exhibition "Lugares InCORPOrados" by the photographer Rui Tavares will be inaugurated on Thursday, August 19.
The inauguration will take place at 4pm, at Camões - Portuguese Cultural Center in Luanda.
As part of the celebrations of its 30th anniversary, the Contemporary Dance Company of Angola, in partnership with the Association Kalu and the consultancy of the architect Isabel Martins, presents the project "Lugares InCORPOrados", consisting of the publication of a book and the presentation of the photography exhibition. The book will soon be presented to the public.
In this project, 16 dancers from four generations of the Contemporary Dance Company of Angola were photographed together with 16 buildings and places of the city of Luanda, evoking the multiplicity of social and affective ties that are established between people and the places they inhabit.
Currently, the exhibition can be visited at Camões - Portuguese Cultural Center, where it will remain from August 19th to September 3rd, from Monday to Thursday between 9am and 1pm and 2pm and 5pm, and Friday between 9am and 1pm.
