"This unprecedented collaboration arises from the shared recognition that the challenges of post-pandemic economic recovery and the current international context require greater coordination, dialogue, and cooperation between the private sectors," the president of CCIPA told Lusa, adding: "By joining forces, the chambers involved are sending a clear signal of their commitment to Angola's sustainable development, strengthening business confidence, and enhancing the role of foreign investment in the country."
The unprecedented partnership between CCIPA and the Angola-Italy Chamber of Commerce, the UK-Angola Chamber of Commerce, the France-Angola Business Club (CEFA), the Delegation of the German Economy in Angola (AHK Angola), and the Swiss Business Council Angola "arose from the shared desire to strengthen cooperation between the European and Angolan private sectors at a particularly symbolic moment, which is Angola's 50th anniversary of independence," said João Traça.
More than just celebrating, "this is a time to renew commitments and create joint platforms for dialogue, trust, and investment during the traditional Business Networking meeting [this Monday afternoon in Luanda], which allows for a multiplier reach, representation, and impact of the event, offering a more integrated and multilateral approach," the lawyer added.
The event, taking place at the EPIC Sana Luanda Hotel, is "a privileged space to stimulate inter-business dialogue, generate new business partnerships, and build bridges between the European and Angolan markets, at a time when Angola seeks to diversify its economy and consolidate a new phase of growth," concluded João Traça.
The CCIPA celebrates its 38th anniversary this Monday, with approximately 175 Portuguese and Angolan members.
